Quality Inspection in ERPNext attaches to purchase receipts, in-process work orders and delivery notes, with parameter templates — dimensions, hardness, weld visual, dye-penetrant result, hydro test pressure — set per item or operation. Readings are recorded, accepted and rejected quantities are posted, and rejected material moves to a separate warehouse for rework or return. Third-party inspection visits and hold points are logged on the project as tasks, so the planner sees them next to production.
Measuring instruments are tracked as assets with calibration due dates, so an instrument calibration audit is a report rather than a scramble.
Cement, steel and building material traders
